Nordic clinches contracts worth S$4.2m

OFFSHORE and marine services provider Nordic Group has secured contracts worth about S$4.2 million.
These include contracts of about S$3.3 million to supply valve remote control and tank gauging systems to a new customer by 2017.
Another contract of S$0.4 million was for the supply of new manpower to carry out insulation works at an oil major's refinery which was completed in the second quarter of this year.
The group's wholly owned units Multiheight Scaffolding and Austin Energy (Asia) have also secured extensions for maintenance contracts with a repeat customer in the process industry for another year, until September and July 2017 respectively. These are estimated at S$0.5 million.
Nordic said the contracts are not expected to have any material impact on its bottom line for the current financial year.
