Ntegrator says Thai unit sued in Bangkok
Ntegrator International, which offers services for optical fibre cable works, on Monday said a summons has been filed against its Thai subsidiary in the civil court in Bangkok, Thailand by Telewave Communication Co Ltd.
Telewave is claiming 28,550,960.10 baht (S$1.14 million) allegedly owed under the contract related to installation, connection, testing and acceptance of the equipment delivered for use in fibre optic connection systems.
The directors of the company and the subsidiary, as well as the subsidiary itself, have been named as defendants to the claim.
"Preliminarily, the directors are of the view that the claim is without merit, and have made arrangements to obtain legal advice for the subsidiary," the company said in a statement.
