Ntegrator to defend unpaid fees claim 'vigorously'
CATALIST-LISTED communications network specialist Ntegrator International on Monday (Apr 4) said it intends to defend its case "vigorously" against the lawyers of its previous sponsor, Asian Corporate Advisors.
The lawyers are claiming that Ntegrator owes them S$188,244.04 for services allegedly rendered to the company.
The amount includes fees related to the company's annual general meeting on Apr 28, its extraordinary general meeting, its acquisition of Fund Joy and its placement of subscription shares to Zhou Qilin.
It also includes fees for the works for the period May 22 to Jul 12, and fees related to the termination of sponsorship, in-lieu of the 1-month notice period.
Discussions between the parties had started since the lawyers sent the company a letter of statutory demand last August, but they did not manage to come to any conclusion after several rounds of discussions, Ntegrator said on Monday.
The lawyers' solicitors from Rajah & Tann Singapore thus issued a writ of summons dated Mar 25, asking Ntegrator to satisfy their claim or enter an appearance to defend the claim within 8 days.
