CATALIST-LISTED shopper360, through its subsidiary, Shopper Plus Singapore, has secured an agreement with NTUC FairPrice to exclusively provide in-store advertising services to consumer brands at 68 hypermarkets and supermarkets in Singapore.

Under the agreement, ShopperPlus Singapore will secure media space from NTUC FairPrice and install and maintain in-store advertising mediums for FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) customers. Mediums include digital and non-digital media formats.

The agreement is shopper360's first with a supermarket chain in Singapore. The group is more well-established in Malaysia, where it provides access to in-store advertising in over 2,840 retail outlets across 184 towns.

Its clients in Malaysia consist of household names such as Nestlé, Dutch Lady and Samsung.

To expand shopper360's presence in Singapore, the group said it hopes to leverage its longstanding relationships with FMCG clients in Malaysia that are also in charge of the Singapore market.

Executive chairman and group managing director Chew Sue Ann said: "Currently in Malaysia, the in-store advertising and digital marketing segment contributes 30 per cent of our group's profit and we can't wait to leverage on our network, experience and expertise to develop strong partnerships with FMCG brands in Singapore."
