Nuffield Dental eyes growth with IPO plan
Founder and CEO says he hopes to set up a world-class private dental hospital in Singapore offering a range of complex treatments.
SINGAPORE dental clinic chain Nuffield Dental has recently raised its public profile by taking part in corporate rankings, and raised convertible financing from a group of investors that included two Catalist-listed companies.
As it turns out, those were merely steps leading to bigger goals - an initial public offering (IPO), and the fulfilment of a long-held dream.
"One of the reasons we want to raise funds from an IPO is because we want to open up a world-class private dental hospital in Singapore," Nuffield founder and chief executive Samintharaj Kumar told The Business Times.
