NutryFarm exec director resigns; new non-exec director appointed
AN EXECUTIVE director of mainboard-listed NutryFarm International : AZT 0% has resigned from its board, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday (Mar 21).
The durian and health foods distributor will also be appointing to its board a new non-executive independent director following another resignation of a non-executive director.
Executive director Levin Lee will be resigning effective Apr 19 to pursue other business interests. The company noted that Lee resigned as he was unable to proceed with his fund raising activities for the company due to the delay in the release of the company's financial results.
Lee's roles and responsibilities included raising funds for the company and managing its investor returns, overseeing the fruit trading business in Singapore, and managing corporate affairs of the group.
Meanwhile, the company will be appointing Ng Fang Yao, a lawyer in private practice, after one of its previous non-executive directors resigned. The company said Ng will be able to advise the company moving forward.
Ng will also be appointed as the chairman of the nominating committee, as well as join the audit committee and remuneration committee, in his new role.

Shares of NutryFarm closed flat at S$0.088 on Monday.
