OCBC appoints new chief risk manager

OCBC Bank has appointed former Deutsche banker Vincent Choo Nyen Fui as its executive vice-president and chief risk officer with effect from Aug 1, 2014.
Mr Choo, 51, will take over from Gilbert Kohnke, who will remain with the bank until Sept 30, 2014, to ensure a smooth transition.
Mr Choo's last appointment at Deutsche Bank was managing director and chief risk officer for Asia Pacific. In his 20 years at Deutsche Bank, he served in various roles including head of market risk management for Asia-Pacific and head of new product approval for Asia.
