Oil and property stocks look interesting this year, says OCBC
Oil counters are trading below their book values; some undervalued property stocks offer good dividend yields

SINGAPORE oil and property stocks are looking interesting in 2017, said Carmen Lee, head of OCBC Investment Research, at an event for the bank's premier banking clients on Thursday.
With oil stocks trading at less than half their book values, there are opportunities for mergers and acquisitions. Their risk-reward balance thus looks favourable, she said.
