OKP Holdings's unit awarded S$20m contract for infrastructure work
OKP Holding's wholly-owned subsidiary, Eng Lam Contractors, has been awarded a S$20.38 million contract from JTC Corporation for the construction of roads, drains, sewers and soil improvement works at Tuas South Avenue 7/14.
It primarily involves the construction and execution of general site clearance, road, drainage, sewer and soil improvement works. Drainage works include the usage of precast technology for the production of some concrete drains and box culvert.
The works will commence on April 20, 2015 and has two phases with the first phase of completion expected in nine months, by Jan 20, 2016. The second phase will span over 21 months and is scheduled to be completed by Jan 20, 2017. This contract updates OKP's net construction order book to S$317.2 million, extending till 2019.
