Olam's 5.6% surge prompts SGX query

COMMODITIES trader Olam International said on Tuesday that it was unaware of any information that could explain the unusual surge in its share price within the day.

Just before 3pm, Olam shares were trading at a high of S$2.25, 5.63 per cent up from its opening price of S$2.13. That is believed to be the highest its shares have risen since July, where they reached S$2.11.
