Singapore
OLAM International's earnings trebled in the first quarter, thanks to a lower charge from the buybacks of high-priced bonds compared to last year.
The agri-commodities group made a net profit of S$113.6 million for the three months ended March 31, up from S$36.3 million. An increase in sales volume across all segments boosted revenue by 10.2 per cent to S$4.8 billion.
