Pacific Star gets approval for extension of time to hold AGM
PACIFIC Star Development Limited has obtained approval from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority for an extension of time to hold its next annual general meeting (AGM).
The Catalist-listed firm said in a Singapore Exchange filing that it has been granted an extension of time to Oct 31, 2018, by which the company must hold its next AGM for the financial year ending June 30, 2018.
Pacific Star will update shareholders on the date and venue of the next AGM in due course.
On Nov 9, the company said it is proposing to change its financial year-end from Dec 31 to June 30.
The reason for the change of financial year-end is to align the financial year of the company with that of Chuan Hup Holdings Limited, a mainboard-listed and a controlling shareholder of Pacific Star, to better facilitate the consolidation of its financial statements.
