Pan Ocean bags US$1.8b contract to transport iron ore

SOUTH Korean bulk carrier Pan Ocean Co has clinched a long-term contract worth around US$1.8 billion to transport iron ore for Brazilian mining giant Vale International.
The 27-year contract will begin in the first quarter of 2020.
