CEMENT supplier Pan-United Corp chalked up a 21 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit to S$7.25 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, bolstered by lower costs and expenses.
This was despite revenue falling 16 per cent to S$175.04 million, partly due to softer demand and selling prices for ready-mixed concrete and cement in Singapore.
Earnings per share came to 1.3 Singapore cents, up from 1.1 Singapore cents a year ago.
