Partnership fans second wind for tyres - as shoe outsoles

SINGAPORE tyre manufacturer and distributor Omni United and lifestyle brand Timberland have announced a collaboration to create a co-branded line of tyres which will become the first to be designed to be recycled into footwear outsoles.
The tyres, unveiled at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) automotive trade show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, are the result of a partnership conceived three years ago between the two companies.
