DEBUNKING the oft-cited myth that friends don't make erstwhile business partners, Singapore billionaire Peter Lim is throwing his money behind Malaysian entrepreneur Tong Kooi Ong for a 20 per cent slice of a newly-set up property portal.
Mr Lim has picked up the stake in Mr Tong's TheEdgeProperty.com - a property information site that has gone live and is set to be officially launched next month - for an "undisclosed consideration", according to a statement issued by TheEdgeProperty.com.
