A CULTURE of fear in insurance agency Peter Tan Organisation (PTO) drove former agency leader Wendy Ho Xiang Yu to go along with plans to defect to Aviva's subsidiary Aviva Financial Advisers (AFA) in mid-2016, even though her intention was to back out of the move and remain under Prudential.
This was revealed over two days (Aug 8 and 13) in an ongoing hearing on Prudential Assurance Company Singapore's lawsuit against its former top group-agency manager Peter Tan Shou Yi, in which Ms Ho is serving as a key witness for Prudential.
