PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), a listed offshore-and-marine group partly owned by Malaysian tycoon Robert Kuok, is well-placed to land its second contract with a Shell-operated floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project.
The Business Times understands that it has pulled ahead of Prosafe, its closest rival in the tender for the contract to support the installation of the multi-billion dollar Prelude FLNG off Western Australia. This comes after POSH landed a contract through a JV to tow the FLNG to the field location earlier this year.
