A SIGNIFICANT spike in trading volume on Friday morning pushed up oil and gas counter Baker Technology by 9.7 per cent to S$0.192 a share. Some 48.3 million shares were traded, compared to a one-year average of around 0.8 million a day.
Upon being queried by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) at 9.31am, the company said it was not aware of any information not previously announced that could explain the trading.
