LIFE is not getting any easier for Singapore-based oilfield-services providers seeking contracts in oil and gas-rich countries in the region, if the signs emerging from the recent Asia Oil and Gas Conference (AOGC) in Kuala Lumpur are any indication.
On a brighter note, oil-and-gas (O&G) contracting is expected to ramp up regionally; a Malaysian industry veteran pointed to projects being rolled back as oil prices have stabilised in the US$50s.
