PRUDENTIAL Singapore on Monday (Jan 16) said it will be setting up a financial advisory firm to offer a wider range of products and services to its customers.
This includes wealth solutions and general insurance such as travel insurance and motor insurance.
The insurance group obtained regulatory approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to set up its financial advisory arm in December.
The new firm will add to Prudential’s existing distribution channels, which include more than 5,000 financial consultants, bancassurance partners as well as digital channels such as the Pulse by Prudential app.
