PRUDENTIAL Singapore is seeing more interest from banks in offering bancassurance (the sale of insurance products through banks branches), a top executive said at a press briefing yesterday.
This comes as the insurance group announced yesterday that it will extend its bancassurance partnership in Asia with Standard Chartered for another 15 years.
Under this agreement, Prudential's life insurance products will continue to be distributed through the bank's branches. This will be implemented in Asian markets that include Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand.
