QAF ups Q4 earnings more than 4 times to S$22.5m
Singapore
QAF's net profit for the fourth quarter jumped more than fourfold to S$22.5 million from S$4.1 million a year earlier, mainly due to its Australian pork production unit Rivalea.
Rivalea - the food company's primary production segment which comprises meat production and sales, meat processing and stock feed milling divisions - enjoyed a boost to its bottom line because its profits were not liable for tax under an existing tax benefits structure.
