AFTER having tried to break into the high-end dental market in Singapore for some time, mainboard-listed Q&M Dental Group has bitten the bullet and snapped up a posh dental centre in the heart of Orchard Road for S$28.6 million. It now wants to sink its teeth into a bigger slice of the dental market pie, the company said on Tuesday.
Q&M is sitting on a sizeable cash pile after raising S$60 million in March and hopes to buy more dental-related companies, group chief executive Ng Chin Siau told a briefing at its City Square Mall clinic, adding that it was "highly possible" that the group would do more mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Singapore.
