Q&M Dental aborts plan to acquire CJ Holding
Q&M Dental said on Monday that it has aborted its proposed acquisition of CJ Holding, a firm that provides general and specialist dentistry services in Hong Kong.
The group had announced on Sept 30, 2017 that it had entered into an agreement with several parties to acquire 60 per cent of the shareholdings of CJ Holding for HK$4 million.
Q&M Dental had said that the acquisition is in line with the company’s plan to continue the expansion of its main dental business in the region and allows them to add seven fully operational clinics in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China to their portfolio.
But on Monday, Q&M Dental said that no agreement could be reached despite various discussions held between the company and the vendors.
