Q&M Dental completes acquisition of New Dental Centre
Q&M Dental Group has acquired the entire shareholding in New Dental Centre and has completed the disposal of two of its indirectly wholly-owned specialist centres, the company announced on Thursday.
New Dental Centre, which is located at a multi-storey car park at Bedok Central, was purchased for a total cash consideration of S$1 on Jan 8 this year. It is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Q&M.
The two specialist centres Q&M sold are The Digestive & Liver Specialist Centre and The Lung Specialist Centre, which have been sold to CM Yeo Gastrointestinal & Liver Specialist Clinic and LM Lung Specialist, respectively.
The consideration payable to Q&M for the assets is S$31,591.75 each.
The disposals were made following Q&M's strategic review to streamline activities and businesses across its group, Q&M said in a statement.
Earlier this month, Q&M had appointed Sakae Corporate Advisory, the wholly-owned unit of Sakae Holdings, as its corporate advisory for two years.
