Tech push comes amid cooling interest in mainboard-listed company

Q&M Dental Group is banking on artificial intelligence (AI) to "move the needle" for the business, starting with an AI platform to enhance dental diagnosis and treatment planning.
It is working with a team from International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia to build an AI platform based on the latest research in dentistry and Q&M's pool of clinical data, said founder and chief executive Ng Chin Siau in an interview on Monday. The AI will be able to tap on the knowledge to identify a patient's symptoms and suggest treatment suitable for the patient's condition.
