Q&M plans to list China, Malaysia dental businesses
Q&M Dental Group is exploring a spin-off of its China and Malaysia subsidiaries through a listing "on a reputable stock exchange", the dental chain announced on Tuesday evening.
The company has hired professionals to pursue that goal. A listing of the dental healthcare units, Q&M Dental Holdings (China) and Q&M Dental Group (Malaysia), would "better reflect" the value of the business, and provide an additional source of funding, the company said.
Q&M had announced in April that it was also looking to list its China manufacturing business, Q&M Aidite International. Q&M Aidite makes zirconium oxide blocks, which are used in the fabrication of dental prostheses. Professionals have also been appointed for that purpose.
