MEDICAL device provider QT Vascular announced yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary TriReme Medical has received the approval of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its Chocolate PTCA Balloon Catheter in the US.

This device, used in patients with coronary arterial disease, is used to dilate narrowed arteries in the heart, thus improving blood circulation there.
