QT Vascular promotes Kelvin Tong to CFO

MEDTECH firm QT Vascular has appointed Kelvin Tong as the group's chief financial officer (CFO) following a promotion from his previous role as financial controller.
The new appointment is effective Sept 1, QT Vascular said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday evening.
As the CFO, Mr Tong, 42, will assume the overall responsibility of the finance, accounting, tax and risk management functions of the group and its subsidiaries.
Mr Tong is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and is a certified practising accountant with CPA Australia.
He jointed the group on July 1, 2014 and has been the group's financial controller since. Prior to joining QT Vascular, he was a senior manager with KPMG LLP in Singapore, where he spent over 13 years providing audit and review services.
Mr Tong owns 1,887 ordinary shares in the company and some 150,000 share awards.
