Quick takes: Singapore banks beat estimates in Q3
ALL three Singapore banks posted better-than-expected results for the third quarter, with DBS closing the results season on Friday (Nov 5).
Here are some analysts' comments:
Jefferies on DBS: In line with peers, DBS capped the reporting season for the banks with a bottom-line beat. Revenue drivers were in line with expectations. However, strength in asset quality continues to surprise on the upside. As the revenue drivers further strengthen and if credit cost stays below normal, the group looks poised to deliver steady growth next year.
