RAW sugar futures hit their highest level in more than a year before closing down as traders booked profits after a fourth straight week of gains, and arabica coffee rose to a five-month peak on technical strength and currency gyrations.

New York cocoa futures also advanced amid broad gains in commodities markets and supply concerns.
