Firms paying dividends quarterly offer better returns: SGX data
Quarterly payouts are attractive as they can provide higher compounded returns

THE 10 largest Singapore-listed counters that distribute dividends quarterly have outperformed the Singapore market since 2015, with real estate investment trusts (Reits) making up eight of them, according to Singapore Exchange (SGX) data.
As at Apr 29, the 10 counters posted a return of 12.4 per cent in 2019, compared to the 11.6 per cent on the FTSE ST All Share index, which is an aggregation of the FTSE ST Large, Mid and Small Cap indexes.
