MOST analysts here are not concerned that the decision by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to remove mandatory quarterly reporting (QR) will put a dent on research here.

From Feb 7, QR will no longer be required for listed companies - unless they are associated with higher risks. These businesses will need to report on their performances only semi-annually.
