Rex International soars 15.2% on discovery of oil and gas in Norwegian Sea

SHARES of Catalist-listed Rex International soared on Wednesday after the company announced in the morning that two Norwegian Sea wells, in which Rex's subsidiary has a 30 per cent stake, contain oil and gas following exploration and appraisal drilling.
The counter climbed 1.2 Singapore cents, or 15.2 per cent, to 9.1 cents. About 165.6 million shares changed hands, making it the most active counter on the Singapore bourse.
