BANKING on a steady supply of tech talent and a strong partnership with Singapore, Batam has transformed itself over the past few years from a manufacturing base into one of Indonesia's most competitive digital hubs.
This is according to the latest Digital Competitiveness Index (EV-DCI), which was recently released by venture capital firm East Ventures in collaboration with KataData Insight Center.
