RICKMERS Maritime Trust has voluntarily prepaid US$5 million on March 31 towards senior loan facilities that several banks extended to units of the trust, it said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Friday evening.
These banks were BNP Paribas, ING Bank's Singapore branch, the Bank of Nova Scotia Asia, Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank's Singapore branch.
It said it made the prepayments using cash in accounts that were secured in favour of the banks via a fixed charge.
