RMG profit down on absence of one-time gain

PRIVATE healthcare operator Raffles Medical Group (RMG) has posted a 20.3 per cent fall in net profit to just under S$68 million for the year ended Dec 31, 2014, mainly because there was a gain on disposal of a subsidiary of S$20.4 million for FY2013.
Excluding exceptional items, net profit rose 6.5 per cent to just under S$65 million. Pre-tax profit grew 10.3 per cent to S$78.3 million.
