S$55.8m disposal gain boosts Keppel T&T's Q3 bottom line

KEPPEL Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) more than quadrupled its third-quarter net profit to S$69.88 million - from S$15.31 million a year ago - thanks to its data centre division registering a S$55.81 million gain on disposal of a subsidiary.

For the three months ended Sept 30, revenue fell 8.7 per cent to S$46.5 million from S$50.91 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the period jumped to 12.5 Singapore cents from 2.8 Singapore cents.

For the first nine months, net profit more than doubled to S$102 million from S$46.97 million. Revenue for the period dipped 2 per cent to S$144.94 million from S$147.97 million. Nine month EPS went up to 18.3 Singapore cents from 8.4 Singapore cents. The company did not an…
