SATS, the chief ground-handling and in-flight catering service provider at Singapore's Changi Airport, on Monday made moves to scale up its operations in China. The aim, it said in separate announcements, is to target customers in fast-casual restaurants, as well as the aviation sector.

It said on Monday that it would build a central kitchen in Hexiwu Town Food Zone as part of an investment agreement between Tianjin Wuqing Hexiwu Town Government and its unit SATS China.
