Sats narrows Q3 loss as cargo volumes increase

SATS could be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for its cargo business, as its freight associates returned to profitability in the third quarter to December and cargo revenue grew quarter-on-quarter.

Further, it is expanding the provision of security services beyond aviation to continue growing its non-travel revenue, in a bid to mitigate the imminent loss of government relief that has helped to cushion the evaporation of its aviation business.
