SATS unit clinches 30b yen catering contract from Delta
Singapore
SATS' Japan-based catering company TFK Corporation has landed a multi-year inflight catering contract from Delta Air Lines worth about 30 billion yen (S$325.2 million).
By October this year, TFK will begin supplying its catering services to Delta at both Tokyo airports, Narita and Haneda International, where the US carrier operates 22 peak-day flights. Meanwhile, Delta, which owns and operates an inflight kitchen in Narita, plans to close that facility once it starts using TFK's services.
