Sembcorp inks 20-year deal to provide solar energy for Facebook Singapore

SEMBCORP Industries on Tuesday announced a 20-year solar energy deal with Facebook to provide lo-cally sourced renewable power to support Facebook's recently announced 170,000 square metre Singapore data centre, as well as its other Singapore operations, for an undisclosed sum.
With this deal, Sembcorp has become Facebook's first renewable energy partner in Asia.
