Sembcorp shares surge amid analysts' optimism
Shares close at 14-month high of S$2.13, shrugging off news of major customer loss; HSBC, Credit Suisse and CGS-CIMB positive on stock

SHARES in Sembcorp Industries (SCI) shrugged off news of the loss of a significant client on Monday to surge as much as 10.6 per cent amid fresh positive calls by analysts.
SCI shares hit an intraday high of S$2.145, up 10.6 per cent or S$0.205. They closed at a 14-month high of S$2.13, up 9.8 per cent or S$0.19, with 32.1 million shares changing hands.
