SembMarine plunges into the red for Q3
RIGBUILDER Sembcorp Marine fell into the red for its third quarter, recording a net loss of S$21.8 million compared with net profit of S$32.1 million in the previous year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Tuesday evening.
For the three months ended Sept 30, revenue fell 21.4 per cent to S$888.0 million from the year-ago period.
It made a loss per share of 1.04 Singapore cents, compared with earnings per share of 1.54 Singapore cents the previous year.
SembMarine shares finished at S$1.315 on Tuesday, S$0.015 or 1.1 per cent lower from the previous close.
