Sembmarine's Q4 profit up 9.2%, boosted by rig-building
Company proposes final cash dividend of 8¢, the same as in the year before
SEMBCORP Marine's rig- building projects and other operating income pushed its fourth-quarter net profit 9.2 per cent higher to $182.4 million.
Excluding non-operating items, the group's net profit for the quarter was 45 per cent higher, against the $126 million posted a year ago.
Its top line was 22.8 per cent higher at $1.69 billion, boosted by higher revenue recognition coming out of its rig-building segment.
