BLACKGOLD Natural Resources on Monday said the sentencing of its consultant Johanes Kotjo, who was involved in a bribery case, is not expected to have any impact on the group's financials or operations.

The coal mining company requested for a trading halt on Dec 14, and BlackGold shares fell 6.7 per cent to 1.4 Singapore cent apiece in the early morning trade on Tuesday, shortly after trading resumed on the Singapore bourse. The counter stayed at that level at the closing bell on Tuesday.
