Serial Q4 net up 52%, expects better 2015

ELECTRONICS components distributor Serial System forecast better financial performance in 2015 barring unforeseen circumstances, even as it reported a 52 per cent increase in net profit to US$4.6 million for its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2014, from US$3.1 million a year ago.
Revenue was up 23 per cent to US$267.7 million from US$216.8 million a year ago.
Serial proposed a final dividend of 0.75 Singapore cent a share. Total dividends for 2014 will be 1.05 cent, up from 0.79 cent a year ago. In the quarter, growth was driven by higher sales in its core market Hong Kong. The co…
