THE Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has led the South-east Asia region in terms of capital raised from initial public offerings (IPOs) in recent years.
Some US$4.9 billion was raised in IPOs on the exchange last year, ranking it among the top 8 in the world. The 2021 tally stood at US$3.96 billion as of Tuesday (Dec 14), with the exchange among the leaders within the Asean region.
