SINGAPORE Exchange (SGX) on Monday launched methanol futures and swap contracts, aimed at providing the methanol market with an exchange traded and centrally cleared alternative to manage risk and improve price discovery.
The SGX Platts Methanol CFR (Cost and Freight), China Swap and the SGX Platts Methanol CFR China Futures are both listed with 12 consecutive contract months on Monday.
